Exactly what I was looking for

I wanted an app that gave me a blank white page for writing. iWriter provides this capability perfectly. When you go full screen, there’s nothing on the screen to distract you as you put words on the page.

It does feel like you’re using a typewriter, but without all of the drawbacks of typewriters of old, like needing to use a special ribbon or correction fluid to wipe out typos. It even uses a typewriter-esque font.

If all you’re looking for is a blank piece of paper for you to type on, this is your application. If you are looking for a cheap general word processor, keep looking since this program doesn’t have — and doesn’t need — all of the features of Pages or Word.
